More Than 70% Retail Space Leased

Promenade at the Dunes’ first business opens:

The Brass Tap serves up an elevated bar experience.

Time to raise a glass!

The first business at one of the most-anticipated, mixed-use, open-air commercial centers in Northern California has begun welcoming craft beer fans, diners and those who are simply looking for a fun night out.

Great Times, Well-Crafted

The Brass Tap Marina is serving up a one-of-a-kind, elevated bar experience from its captivating new digs at 99 General Stillwell Drive in Marina. Part of a family of nearly 50 locations across 16 states, the newest Brass Tap will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, June 6th.

Owner-operator Karl Waller and his wife were both raised in Marina, and after highly successful careers have come home to give local residents and visitors to the Monterey Peninsula another must-see destination.

The taphouse will feature 60 craft beers; handmade cocktails; delicious pub fare including burgers, pizza, chicken wings, tacos and salads; multiple gathering spaces including indoor seating area, glass-enclosed patio and outdoor lawn area with firepits, 28 television screens, and stunning murals.

Opportunities at the Promenade

The Brass Tap is the first establishment to open in the Promenade at the Dunes, which will include seven commercial buildings totaling 32,685 sq. ft. — with business suites or full buildings ranging from 800 sq. ft. to 5,500 sq. ft. The neighborhood will also offer 84 residential condos, townhomes and live/work units built by Shea Homes as part of The Dunes on Monterey Bay — a master-planned community of 1,237 homes.

The Promenade’s walkable shopping, dining and entertainment district will be anchored by a major-name specialty grocer. Other tenants soon to be announced will consist of upscale retail stores, eateries and service businesses. A five-screen movie complex — the Cinemark Century Marina — occupies the other end of the rapidly rising center.
