The long-awaited third Trader Joe’s location on the Monterey Peninsula opened to the public on Wednesday, November 13th, welcoming eager shoppers who had formed a line around the building.
The Trader Joe’s in Marina is located at 150 10th St. and is open daily from 9AM to 9PM.
“As a neighborhood grocery store, Trader Joe’s prides itself on hiring where our store is located. The store hired more than ninety new Crew Members from surrounding areas and transferred in thirty others from neighboring Trader Joe’s stores,” Trader Joe’s said in a media release.
The store said it will also donate 100% of products that go unsold but remain fit to a range of nonprofit, community-based organizations.
